Yes, of course, if the end user remains the same. At any given moment, only one session can be active for an account. A session closes when its user leaves his account, or after timeout of 10 minutes for the Professional and 30 minutes for the Basic pricing plan.

How can I remove my website from

There is no way to do this. Your website will not be included into our database if it never shows up at positions from 1 to 50 of Yandex search results for any of keywords we check. is not aware of a domain which interests me, how this could happen?

Yes, of course, we have a separate report for this purpose. Open a report for a domain, then for that domain's page, click URL of any page, and the report on keywords of this specific page will open. Or just specify address of a particular page in the input box.

About our data sources and methods of collecting data

What are our keyword sources?

We have collected all keywords from websites with open metrics counter at the time when such data still could be requested (early in 2015), added autocompletion suggestions from Yandex, got as many keyword samples from our competitor services as we could, and added top keywords from several openly sold keyword databases

All this collection resulted in the database of no less than 200 millions of keywords. From this list we have removed all keywords with repetitions, then checked exact search volumes and removed keywords which search volume was too low (less than 10 per year). We have found all (or almost all) inexact dupli

As the result we got a little less than 76 millions of keywords, which became the foundation of our service. This database is used to make snapshots of main regions.

  2. Removal of keywords with repetitions (buy elephant buy). Although in rare cases such forms are correct, correct evaluation of search volumes is impossible for them, therefore we decided to get rid of them;
  3. Removal of phrases longer than 7 words. Sometimes these keywords are very useful - with high search volume and low competition, but as rates of Yandex.Direct cannot be retrieved for them, to make data homogenous we decided to exclude such keywords from the service's database.

How often you update your data?

  2. Data on keywords - we plan to update Direct's rates and keywords' search volumes at least once per 3 months and to periodically add new keywords, or remove those which are no longer searched for;

Data on monetization and analytic systems on websites (searching for websites belonging to the same owner) - the oldest data is no older than 3 months, and the more visible a website is (the higher its number of keywords in Top 50) the more often we re-check it. Websites encountered for the first time during a search results' crawl are checked immediately;
What method is used to generate search results - XML or organic search?

Only organic search, no XML. We attempt to retrieve search results for each database as swiftly as possible. Generally this takes 3-4 days. We do so to produce a maximally coherent picture - in out database you are unlikely to find a half-filtered domain.

How do you calculate search volume and cost per click?

We're using Yandex' advertising campaign planner and the service itself. Search volume is retrieved in one off the most average months (September, October, November, March, April), so that we can get data least susceptible to seasonal fluctuations. Before we used the method of retrieving yearly search volume and displaying the result divided by 12, but lately this approach started to produce very distorted data.

Search volume is displayed in the two formats. Broad match means simply requesting a keyword's volume from the service without any additional filters. Exact match meanwhile means evaluating search volume for a keyword with this exact set of words, word forms, and order of words: "[!this !keyword !exactly]". Together these two values allow to estimate an approximate volume of complementary keywords and to precisely determine which specific keyword form has the best prospects, which resolves any issues with incorrectly phrased keywords, etc.

All data about search volume and cost per click is collected without specifying a keyword's region and any geo- or time-targeting.

How number of visits for a website is estimated, how accurate is this measure?

We use a variation of the website visibility calculation formula and multiply the result by an experimentally derived ratio. Of course, this is merely an estimate, and furthermore it only covers visits from Yandex, but for relatively large websites (1000 or more visitors from Yandex per day) it usually produces results quite close to realit

Budget for PPC shows a number far from reality

The displayed number is the rate for the current position multiplied by the CTR forecast and by the search volume of every keyword in the domain. No other ratio is used, as this data is identical to data used for budget forecasts in Direct's own advertising campaign planning tool, when no regional or other targeting is employed.

How to change my pricing plan?

You can simply click the pricing change button in your control panel. When changing to higher pricing, a pricing plan can be changed instantly by depositing an additional payment equal to the difference in price, but changing to lower pricing is only available when your current subscription period expires.
